Meet Danielle Silberman, LCSW

Hi! I'm Danielle. I'm a lover of metaphors, creativity, cozy pajamas, and coffee. A few years ago I picked up hand embroidery as a winter craft and fell in love with the feeling of watching something transform, stitch by stitch, into something whole. Fridays are my favorite! That sweet exhale at the end of the week, with the weekend ahead. For me that usually looks like chasing my toddler, catching up with people I love, or curling up with a good book or a Netflix series.

I've had seasons in my own life where I've felt behind, off-path, and stuck in the comparison trap, sitting with the kind of anxiety that makes it hard to trust yourself or your own journey. That experience is part of what drew me to this work, and it's what makes me genuinely passionate about helping women find their way back to themselves.

In our work together, I prioritize building a relationship that feels safe, honest, and grounded. I have 10+ years of experience supporting individuals and families in their most vulnerable moments. I'm trauma-informed and draw from a blend of approaches, including CBT, narrative therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness and meditation practices. My goal is to meet you where you are and use what actually works for you.

I named my practice Peace Lily Counseling Services, to represent the growth that can occur if you step into the light. Peace Lilies grow in low light, but when moved into more sunlight they sprout beautiful flowers. I would love to help you step into the light and find the joy that is within you.

Meet Max

Max wears many hats in my practice including unofficial emotional support animal, co-worker, office manager, and resident cuddler. He is a three year old rescue, who was found as a stray roaming the streets and now living his best life!

During sessions, Max is usually curled up in his bed beside my desk, though he'll occasionally make his presence known with a high-pitched yawn or a tail that pops into the camera mid-stretch. He is the sweetest, cuddliest dog I've ever met. Perpetually glued to my side, silly, weird, and absolutely irreplaceable as a co-worker
